Italy police arrest Libyan, Algerian traffickers over migrant shipwreck deaths
Italy captured three Libyans and two Algerians on Friday blamed for various murder and human trafficking regarding the assumed demise by suffocating of more than 200 transients after a boat upset in the Mediterranean, police said.
The five were put under formal capture in Palermo in the wake of being addressed on Thursday. Police say vagrants were beaten and wounded amid the voyage, with numerous secured in the hold.
