INEC omits PDP Candidate from Imo state Gubernatorial candidates List
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has released its list of Gubernatorial candidates for Imo state with the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party absent from it.
The list which was pasted at the INEC headquarters in Abuja on Friday stated that the Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha and his current deputy, Prince Madumere would be the representatives of the All Progressives Congress while Captain Iheanacho is the candidate for the All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA].
The omission of a PDP candidate is due to the dispute between the deputy speaker of the house of representatives, Emeka Ihedioha and Ifeanyi Araraume, as they both claim to have won the party’s Imo state governorship primary.
