Imo PDP Chieftain believes there are APC Moles in PDP
The Chairman of the Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party Elders Council, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, has warned the All Progressives Congress to be careful of politicians defecting from the PDP.
Iwuanyanwu, while briefing journalists after a crucial meeting of the council in Owerri on Tuesday, blamed the party’s loss in the state’s governorship election on lack of loyalty by some members of the PDP.
He also stated that some of the members of the party actually work for the APC, saying:
“We have known those who are not reliable and who should not be trusted. Some of them left us immediately after the presidential election and the APC should beware of these game-man-like politicians because they were the same people, who shamelessly destroyed the PDP.”
He also went ahead to claim that the governorship election was filled with irregularities, and extolled the character of the candidate of the PDP, Chief Emeka Ihedioha.
“He has over the years distinguished himself as a party loyalists and the party has no regret fielding him as his standard bearer,” he said.
