House of Reps Postpone Resumption to December 16
The House of Representatives on Wednesday postponed its resumption date by two weeks.
The House which went on recess on October 28 was due to resume today but will now resume on December 16.
The Clerk of the House, Mohammed Sani-Omolori, disclosed the new development in a statement on Tuesday, saying: “This is to notify members of the House of Representatives that the resumption of the House from recess earlier scheduled for December 3, 2014 has been postponed. The House will now resume on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 10am.
”The Leadership of the House of Representatives took note of the adjustment in the calendar of the political parties and took the decision for the postponement to allow members of the House participate in the forthcoming primaries of their political parties”.
