“As Muslims, we should be constantly reminded of the teachings of the holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW) about piety, love, recompense and sacrifice, and that these should not be limited to the Ramadan period alone which could be abandoned after the fasting period. The teachings of Islam is that these should be our way of lives at all times.
“We should also use the end of Ramadan period to pray to Almighty Allah (Subuana Taa alla) for the peace and security of our great Nation, Nigeria, and for Divine guidance for all the leaders so that they can steer the ship of state with the fear of God.
He further advised that eid-el-fitri should be celebrated in moderation, avoiding every form and actions bordering on violence or capable of causing chaos or breach of peace.
