Gunmen kidnap 80-year-old woman in Ekiti
Unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted an 80-year-old woman, Rose Aina, in Ilogbo-Ekiti in Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State, reports Premium Times.
According to the report, madam Aina was abducted at about 9.00pm after she had retired to bed at her residence.
Her whereabouts, it reported remain unknown as the suspected kidnappers are yet to reach her family on the phone to make any demands.
Her kidnap has thrown the community into confusion as such a thing has never happened in the town.
Alberto Adeyemi, the spokesperson of the Ekiti State Police Command, said officers and men of the command were making efforts to find the woman and secure her release.
