Governor Kwankwanso to Officially Declare Presidential Ambition on October 28
Kano state Governor, Rabiu Kwankwanso, has revealed plans to formally declare his interest in contesting in the 2015 general elections on on 28 October.
Governor Kwankwanso also said he believes all the presidential aspirants under the canopy of the All Progressives Congress, APC, -including former Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari(rtd), a former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the publisher of leadership newspaper, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah – are better candidates than President Goodluck Jonathan.
He said, “For people like me who have millions of supporters all over the country, I’m not the type that will be jumping from one party to the other. I can’t go back to the PDP.
“One of us, not two or three, will win the primary. All of us believe that all our candidates are better that the President. If I don’t get it, in a free and fair primarily, that is ok. None of us is thinking of leaving the party.”
