Governor Amaechi Tells Rivers State Citizens to Vote Out President Jonathan

River State Gov. Rotimi Amechi

The Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi has urged the people of the state to vote out President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general elections.

Amaechi, while speaking with the people of Kalabari when he visited Degema Local government area of the staten said that President Jonathan “was a stranger and not their brother”, adding that the President has done nothing in Rivers state since his assumption of office.

He said: “The only way you can get back your oil wells is to vote out Mr. President. It is up to you, the Kalabari people, if you don’t vote out Mr. President, you know that you cannot have another Governor like me who can fight for you.

“They will put the last signature and your oil wells will be gone forever. Vote him out. He is not our brother. He is from Bayelsa, we are Rivers. He can only serve Bayelsa, he can not serve us.

“Let him tell us what he has done for us.”

Governor Amaechi also called on the President to avoid inciting the people of Bayelsa state and Kalabari because of the Soku oil wells dispute.
