Governor Aliyu Calls for Peace among Nigerians
Niger state Governor, Babangida Aliyu, has said that the Boko Haram terrorist sect do not represent Islam as their actions are against the rules of the religion.
Aliyu, who was the special guest at the 29th edition of Niger State Qu’anic recitation competition in Bida said the terrorists were ignorant as Islam is a religion of peace, democracy and tolerance to other faith.
Aliyu encouraged Nigerians to teach islamic lessons in the right manner in order to moderate actions, encourage unity and foster peace.
