Gov El-Rufai appoints Omogui as Head of the Kaduna State’s Tax Reform Committee
Continuing his recent high profile appointments, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has appointed a former Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Dr.Ifueko Omogui, as the head of the State’s Tax Reform Committee.
The governor disclosed this at the first town hall meeting held in Kawo, Kaduna, saying the committee was set up to review the state internal revenue generation, systems and laws.
He added that the committee would be saddled with the responsibility of recommending ways on how the government could improve on its internal revenue drive.
