Glasgow : Usain Bolt Shuns Claims He is not Enjoying Events; England Pursue Australia’s Medals Tally

Jamaican relay champion, Usain Bolt has described claims that he made disparaging comments about the Commonwealth Games as “nonsense”.
British newspaper, The Times had quoted the Olympic 100m champion as saying he was not really having fun in Glasgow. It also 
claimed Bolt, who is due to run in the 4x100m relay at the weekend, said the London Olympics had been better.
But Bolt denied the claims via Twitter, saying: “I’m waking up to this nonsense.. journalist please don’t create lies to make headlines”.
Bolt’s manager, Ricky Simms, also rubbished the reports, saying: “The atmosphere in and around the stadiums has been absolutely fantastic and I have absolutely no idea where these quotes have come from.”
Responding to the newspaper article, a spokesman for the Commonwealth Games Federation said: “The Glasgow Games have so far been fantastic and everyone there, including the competing athletes, seems to be having a brilliant time. Usain Bolt must just be having an off day.”
Meanwhile, at the games, Australia continue to lead the medals tally after Day 6 with 34 gold and 101 medals. England trails behind with 33 gold and 93 medals. Hosts Scotland lost their 3rd place spot to Canada, who have 16 gold and 39 medals.
South Africa occupies seventh position with 9 gold and 26 medals, Kenya is tenth with 4 gold and 9 medals and Nigeria stands in twelfth place, boasting 3 gold and 14 medals.
