Gervinho extends Contract at Roma till 2018
Ivorien striker Gervinho has signed a contract extension with Italian Serie A side Roma, that will keep him at the club until 2018.
The club announce the news, saying: “Roma announces that Yao Gervais Kouassi (Gervinho) has extended his contract by one year.”
The 27-year-old left Arsenal to join the last season runners-up in 2013 and has since scored nine times in 33 league appearances.
He helped the team secure a place in the group stages of the Champions League after finishing behind Juventus and is expected to start for Rudi Garcia’s side when they host CSKA Moscow in their Group E opener at the Olympic Stadium on Wednesday.
