George Akume Predicts PDP’s Loss in 2015
The Minority Leader of the Senate and former governor of Benue state, George Akume, has predicted the fall of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2015 general elections.
Akume, who represents Benue North-West and is seeking a re-election, said Nigerians will vote for the All Progressives Congress because the PDP has failed them.
He said, “The people are daily yearning for change and that change can only be realized if the APC is elected. It is sad that the PDP-led government in Benue State owes four months’ salaries and the administration must be sent packing in 2015.”
He also said the Presidency lacked the political will and commitment to contain the Boko Haram insurgency ravaging the country.
