Financial Crisis: Fayose to appoint only 14 Commissioners

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has disclosed that he will only appoint14 commissioners in view of the financial crisis facing the State.
Fayose disclosed this on Friday while featuring on a monthly radio and television programme, “Meet Your Governor”.
According to him, he deliberately refused to announce names of commissioners since he assumed office because of paucity of funds.
Fayose pointed out that the immediate past administration appointed more than enough number of commissioners as well as 102 special advisers.
While assuring the people of the state that the list of his commissioners would be presented to the State House of Assembly within 48hrs, he maintained that the present economic situation in the state will not allow him to have as much aides as his predecessor.
