Major changes, on Thursday, were made to the lists of ‎the delegates to the forth coming National Conference. These alterations however did not exceed the 492 representatives despite alleged marginalization and exclusion by some ethnic minorities, religious interests and groups.

According to a statement from office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,
Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, stated that, Dr. Kunle Olajide from Ekiti State replaces Chief Afe Babalola (SAN) who rejected his nomination through a letter delivered to the president by Ekiti State Governor on Tuesday while His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Yaro, the Etsu of Bwari replaces His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ismail Danlami Mohammed, Sarki of Karshi on the request of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria.

The Paramount Ruler of Yewa land in Ogun West, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle MFR has been named as the replacement for Niyi Akintola, SAN. Akintola is however retained in the delegate list of Oyo State. Also, Prince Rabiu Oluwa replaces Supo Sonibare.
