Federal Character Commission Warns The Public About Individuals Impersonating Its Acting Chairman, Oladele

The Federal Character Commission (FCC) has warned the public about some individuals impersonating the acting Chairman of the commission, Hon. Kayode Oladele. In a terse statement signed by the commission’s Director of Public Affairs and Communication, Chizea C.C , which was made available to nigerianecho.com.ng, he said people are using the photo of Oladele to make demands from people using a WhatsApp number 09162415652 or other numbers. He said the fraudsters are making false promises of contracts, jobs, and other official favours to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.

“The Federal Character Commission (FCC) warns the public about individuals impersonating the Acting Chairman, Hon. Kayode Oladele, using his photo and contacting people via WhatsApp at 09162415652 or other numbers. These fraudsters are making false promises of contracts, jobs, and other official favours to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.

“The Commission emphatically states that the Acting Chairman has not authorized, and will never authorize, anyone to solicit money, contracts, or appointments on his behalf or on behalf of the Commission. All official communications and contract processes are conducted through transparent, verifiable, and lawful channels.

“The public is strongly advised to ignore and report any individual or communication claiming to act for the Acting Chairman or the Commission. Such action is fraudulent and should be reported immediately to law enforcement agencies or the Commission. The Federal Character Commission remains committed to integrity, transparency, and fairness in all its operations and public service delivery”, Chizea said.
