Extraordinary Congress dissolves NFF Board
Extraordinary Congress called by the Acting Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation, Lawrence Katiken, has dissolved the Board of the NFF.
NFF Board is usually headed by the Federation’s president.
At an Extraordinary Congress on Saturday, the Board was declared dissolved.
Aminu Maigari, who was ordered to stop parading himself as the president of the association by a High Court in Jos, Plateau State, led the Board until the court order on Wednesday.
World’s football governing body, FIFA, has threatened to sanction Nigeria if the imbroglio in the NFF is not resolved by Tuesday.
