Enyeama makes CAF Final Player of the Year Shortlist

Captain and Goalkeeper of the Super Eagles, Vincent Enyeama, has been nominated in the 2014 CAF player of the year final shortlist.

The LOSC Lille goalkeeper will compete with the reigning African player of the year, Yaya Toure and Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, for the price.

An original twenty-five list was cut some weeks ago to ten, then later to five through voting from members of the Technical & Development and the Media Committees.

The winner of the coveted price will now be decided by votes of Head Coaches of the National Associations affiliated to the federation.

The winners will be announced at the Glo-CAF Awards Gala scheduled for Thursday, January 8, 2015 in Lagos, Nigeria.
