England to Host Final and Semi-final Matches of Euro 2020
England has won the right to host the final and semi-finals of Euro 2020 at Wembley stadium.
UEFA announced that its executive committee awarded the final to England’s national stadium over Munich’s Allianz Arena at a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, making it the first major football tournament to be held in England since Euro 96.
Nineteen cities bid to stage matches after UEFA decided to spread the championship around 13 cities across Europe, rather than hold the tournament in one or two countries.
