EMC/TRACE Boss, Sam to Speak at NigeriaCom

Sam Onyemelukwe, the Managing Director of Entertainment Management Company (EMC), exclusive representative of Trace Urban in Nigeria, is billed to speak at the 2013 edition of the NigeriaCom Conference – a two-day strategic conference designed to deliver market insights in the telecoms, media and ICT sector, on September 18, at Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The spirited entrepreneur and entertainment mogul will share insights from his expansive global experience as he speaks on the theme “Keeping up with changing habits in how content is consumed”. The conference will feature more than 40 speakers and over 700 attendees.<

Sam is prominent for his role in driving the business potentials of the entertainment sector in Nigeria and Anglophone West Africa. In his words, “My passion is to provide a reliable structure that can help unlock the abundant opportunities that are available in the Nigerian entertainment industry. We are taking entertainment and communications to the market by redefining the business of entertainment in Africa”.

He states that drastic changes in consumer habits and creative span has redefined entertainment business and that entertainment businesses must  be more innovative in order to remain relevant to consumers. This, he said, informed the partnership deals with the EMC brand and global brands such as the “Nokia Don’t Break the Beat” by Nokia and Globacom’s “Glo Slide and Bounce Tour”.
