EFCC Grills NAFDAC Boss, Orhi Over Multi-Billion Naira Contract Scam

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC operatives on Monday grilled the Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug administration and Control, NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhi, for allegedly awarding contracts running into several billions of Naira to himself.
The NAFDAC boss according to EFCC sources arrived the agency office in Abuja around 8.30am and grilled over allegation of contracts he awarded to himself through some phony companies.
Orhi who whose invitation by the agency was as a result of petition written against him by the former Director of Finance, in NAFDAC, Ademola Magbojuri was however allowed to go home around 5.30pm and asked to report back on Tuesday.
The embattled NAFDAC DG was alleged by Magbojuri as been the brain behind the massive shady deal and financial recklessness at the agency.
He was said to have used the agency IGR for political campaign instead of remitting same to the Federation Account as demanded by law.
