Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has declared the ousted Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, wanted.
Information has it that the agency took the decision to declare Nyako wanted for failing to honour the anti-graft invitations after his removal from office.
EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, on Tuesday confirmed the agency’s decision while speaking to NigerianEcho. He added that the commission took the decision to declare impeached governor wanted because he had been elusive.
“Since Nyako, was removed, he has refused to honour the agency invitation. So the commission has to declare him wanted.” Uwujaren said.
