ECOWAS to hold Summit to Restrategise against Boko Haram
Some members of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS and the Economic Community of Central African States will hold a joint summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on Wednesday to work together towards a new strategy to fight against the Boko Haram terrorist sect.
The ECOWAS released a statement on Sunday in Abuja, saying that the meeting had became necessary as the coalition of the armed forces of Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon and Chad had not proved fully successful in conquering the sect.
