Echiejile makes 90 Minutes Show in Arsenal’s 1-0 loss to Monaco

Eagles defender, Elderson Echiejile has recovered from the injury that denied him a chance to take part in the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
The Monaco player helped his club to curtail Arsenal on Sunday, winning 1-0, and thus denying the Gunners the chance of winning the 2014 Emirates Cup. He played for 90 minutes for the first time in recent weeks.
The Gunners found themselves behind in the first half when Colombian forward, Radamel Falcao, nodded in a well taken cross in the 37th minute.
The Gunners had needed only a draw to claim the Emirates Cup, but instead the trophy was claimed by Valencia, who defeated Benfica 3-1 in the day’s earlier game.
