Eagles visit Nigeria Ambassador, Mba, Oduamadi missing from training in London

Super Eagles and their handlers on Monday paid a visit to the Nigerian Ambassador in UK, Dr. Dalhatu Tafida.

The team at Nigeria house had lunch with the Ambassador and the embassy’s senior staffs.

The Ambassador charged the Super Eagles to make Nigeria and Africa proud in the coming World Cup, starting in few weeks time.

In his response, Stephen Keshi on behalf of the team promised to present a team that the whole nation will be very proud of and assured that the team will surpass marks made by previous Super Eagles.

The team retired to their hotel to later attend their evening scheduled training at Fulham FC training ground, Motspur Park, New Malden, Kingston.

The training was conducted by the Big Boss Keshi who emphasised on passes, short runs and team work. The team later broke into two teams for a full game.

The players showed their eagerness and determination to impress the coach in order to be in the final 23 squad.

Meanwhile, only 28 players trained, MBA and Oduamadi were missing from the training and they were not yet in camp as the time of writing this report.

The team will resume training today evening at the same ground.
