Eagle-Eye policemen foiled Suicide bomb attack on police station in Yobe

An attack by suicide bombers operating in a pickup vehicle laden with Improvised Explosive Device was foiled on Sunday morning in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.
The target of the attack according to Major-General Kayode Olukolade, spokesman for the Defence was ‘A’ Division of the Nigeria Police Command situated at the round-about in the heart of Damaturu the state capital.
Nemesis however played fast one on the bomber as he was arrested by an eagle-eye policeman on duty.
A total of six already constructed turbine containers loaded with explosives, which have been safely denotated by the anti-bomb squad as well as 20 litres of petrol and 11 bags of beans chaff have been recovered from the scene.
Other items recovered included video and electronic recording facilities.
