Djokovic Ties the Knot after Wimbledon win
Two-times Wimbledon winner, Novak Djokovic and his fiancee, Jelena Ristic are now married.
The Serbian athlete, 27, and the model jetted off to tie the knot just hours after he took home a win at Wimbledon.
The wedding which took place at a five-star resort in Montenegro at 6pm on Thursday, July 10, was attended by about 250 guests.
“I would like to dedicate it to my future wife and our future baby,” Djokovic had said after his win. “I’m going to become a father soon and I’m still preparing for that. It’s a great joy in life.”
Djokovic and Ristic began dating in 2005 and got engaged last September. Djokovic announced via Twitter in April that they were expecting their first child together.
They will exchange vows once again with a church wedding on July 12 in front of 15 members of their family.
