Di Maria Out of Argentina-Netherlands Clash, Aguero In

After series of tests, it has been confirmed that Argentine winger, Angel Di Maria will not be available for Wednesday’s World Cup semi-final against the Netherlands, but in a stroke of luck, striker Sergio Aguero will be fit to play.
Di Maria, 26, came off injured in the 1-0 quarter-final victory over Belgium after a severe thigh strain and will not face the Dutch.
Manchester City’s Aguero who has not played since injuring his hamstring in the group-stage win over Nigeria, has returned to training and declared himself fit for selection.
Di Maria, who scored a dramatic extra-time winner against Switzerland in the last 16, could be fit for the final on Sunday should Argentina qualify.
