Death in NSCDC: Tambuwal orders probe‎

Former House of Representatives Speaker now Governor of Sokoto State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal on Friday directed Human Rights Agency to investigate the circumstances that led to the death of a 38-year-old Jamilu Abdullahi.‎

This was contained in a statement by Tambuwal’s spokesman, Malam Imam Imam.

According to the statement, the governor who expressed sadness over the unfortunate situation said that the state government would investigate the case to unravel the circumstances that led to the death of the deceased and recommend steps to avert future occurrence.

‎Abdullahi was reported dead while in the custody of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps in Sokoto State Command.
