Dame Jonathan believes President Jonathan’s Administration has done enough for Women
Dame Patience Jonathan has said that the President Jonathan administration deserves the votes of women as they have fulfilled their mandate to women in the first term.
Jonathan who was represented by the wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Amina Sambo, said at a rally on Friday organised by women in Bauchi state that the Peoples Democratic Party-led administration had made women a priority.
She said: “Part of the commitments expressed by this administration under the PDP, is ensuring health of women, just as I have now inaugurated a health facility, built for women and children in this state.”
The Bauchi State Governor, Malam Isa Yuguda, and his wife, Hajiya Aisha Yuguda, in their speech, also thanked women in the state for their support, urging them to collect their permanent voters’ card and PDP candidates.
