Cults: Three Feared Dead, Two Injured in Bayelsa, As Police Nab Five

A 300 level engineering student and two final year students of the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Amassomma, Bayelsa State, have been reported dead as a result of a clash between AY and Vagas rival cult groups on the campus.
The unnamed 300 level student, who was inflicted with machete cuts, was said to have died in a private hospital at Amassoma in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the state, where he was taken to.
Addressing journalists, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hillary Opara, denied there was any death resulting from the cult crisis but, confirmed there was cult activity in the school and that a student was inflicted with machete cuts.
He also revealed that five cultists have been arrested while his men are after other members of the cultists at large.
