Covenant University to graduates 1000

Covenant University, Otta in Ogun State, Nigeria is to graduate more than 1, 000 students at its ninth convocation ceremony scheduled to hold between June 25 and June 29.

This was made known by the university in a statement signed by its Head of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Emmanuel Igban.

In the statement, the university said that the ceremony is tagged: “The Release of the Eagles.”

It added that at the ceremony, the immediate past acting Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr Sarah Alade, would deliver a keynote address with the theme: “Rethinking the Concept of National Transformation: The Role of Higher Education Institutions.”

The statement revealed other activities lined up for the ceremony to include a special convocation assembly at the university chapel as well as exhibition of some of the university’s innovations from research and development platform.

The university Chancellor, Dr. David Oyedepo would preside over the special convocation on June 25.
