Court to Rule On Ngilari’s Suit on October 8
A Federal High Court in Abuja has fixed Wednesday, October 8, to give a final judgement in the suit filed by former Adamawa State Deputy Governor,James Bala Ngilari, challenging the legality of his expulsion from the Government House.
According to report, Ngilari’s lawyers argued that the Deputy Governor should have been sworn in after the impeachment of Governor Murtala Nyako while defending lawyers argued that he resigned from his office before the impeachment of the Governor.
Counsel to Ngilari however continue to contest the authenticity of the resignation letter allegedly submitted by his client.
