The TURKISH terror police have swooped on hundreds of ISIS supporters this morning in coordinated raids across the country including on coastal resorts popular with British holiday makers.

An army of 5,000 armed police and special forces agents stormed more than 100 addresses across the country in a series of co-ordinated dawn raids designed to wipe their evil ideology off the map.

At least two people, including a teenager, were arrested in the popular Mediterranean holiday destination of Antalya, while 16 militants allied with a Kurdish terror group were snared in the western coastal town of Izmir, close to Bodrum and the Greek islands.

A police spokesman said 251 people have been detained and one person died in the raids.

The arrests come four days after ISIS claimed responsibility for a deadly bomb attack in the Turkish town of Suruc, on the border with Syria, that killed 32 people.
