BREAKING: Jonathan appoints Rufa’i Alkali as political adviser, Sani as SSA

President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP National Publicity Secretary and a professor of political scientist, Prof. Rufai Alkali as his new Special Adviser on Political Affairs.
Prof. Alkali, who was appointed Pro-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna last year hails from Gombe State.
Alkali replaces Ahmed Gulak who was sacked in April.
According to Dr. Rueben Abati, president spokesman, who released the news, President has also appointed Baraka Sani as his Senior Special Assistant for Schools Agriculture Programme.
Sani was until recently the Commissioner for Agriculture in Kano State.
Both appointments, he said are with immediate effect.
