Breaking: Ex-Gov Akpabio Becomes Senate Minority Leader

Nigeria’s Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki has announced the endorsement of Senator Godswill Akpabio as the Senate Minority Leader.
The announcement followed the endorsement of the former governor of Akwa-Ibom by the PDP caucus in the Green Chamber.
Senator Godswill Akpabio, representing Akwa Ibom North West at the Senate was endorsed by Southern Senators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday, July 27.
