Breaking: EFCC Chairman, Lamorde Sacked… Magu takes over
The Federal Government of Nigeria has removed the embattled Chairman of the anti-corruption agency. Ibrahim Lamorde, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Was removed today and replaced by Ibrahim Magu, a top operative of the agency.
Lamorde who has been the boss of the EFCC Is under investigation by the Senate. His alleged roles in the disappearance of over One Trillion Naira recovered from people who had stolen from government covers have been the subject of controversy.
