Breaking Bad Breaks World Record

AMC hit,Breaking Bad is entering the Guinness World Records 2014 for achieving a record 99 percent rating in 2013 to become the “Highest-Rated TV Series.”
Several other entertainers are making it into the new book also. Veteran actress, Betty White will enter the records book for having the “Longest TV Career for an Entertainer (Female),” citing her 74 years on TV. The 91-year-old made her television debut in 1939 and has starred in shows like The Golden Girls, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and The Carol Burnett Show. She currently stars in TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland.
Bajan beauty,Rihanna,will hold the spot for “Most Liked Person on Facebook”. As at May 16, 2013,her current count stands at 74,769,237. She was previously featured in the book in 2013, when she became the best-selling digital artist (US), selling an incredible 47.57 million digital tracks in the United States during her career; in 2012, being first woman to have had number one singles in the United Kingdom for five consecutive years from 2007-2011; and in 2010, when she was named the best selling download female artist in the UK.
Taylor Swift will also be cited in the book as the “First Solo Female with Two Million-Selling Weeks on the U.S. Albums Chart,” after two of her albums,Speak Now (2010) and Red (2012) sold 1.04 million and 1.20 million copies, respectively.
Justin Bieber will once again enter the record book as “Youngest Solo Artist to Have Five U.S. #1 Albums,” after of My World 2.0, Never Say Never: The Remixes, Under the Mistletoe, Believe, and Believe Acoustic hit No. 1. He was previously inducted as the “First Musician with a Music Channel Viewed Three Billion Times.”
British male Pop group,One Direction have the record for “Most Twitter Followers for a Pop Group” as of May 16, 2013. They currently have more than 14.6 million followers.
