Borno bomb blast, 16 dead, 24 severely injured

A bomb blast, which occurred in Maiduguri on Saturday evening according to a military source has claimed no fewer than 16 people.
An hospital sources told NigerianEcho Sunday morning that, they counted no fewer than 16 bodies when they brought casualties of the bomb attacks on a cattle market to their hospital.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, which preceded two similar attacks in the state and Yobe within a week.
Military authorities are yet to make any statement about the ugly incident but, all indications pointed to the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents.
No fewer than 24 people were said to be severely injured in the suicide bomb attack.
