Channels TV reported that, the bomb disposal unit of the Niger State Police Command was then called upon to defuse the bomb.
The assistant commissioner of Police (operation), Emmanuel Olokoro, according to the report dispelled the rumour, disclosing that the suspected substance was an empty can.
