Presidency seems worried with the disclosure by the Minister of Youth Development, Boni Haruna, that President Goodluck Jonathan has agreed to an amnesty deal with the Islamist sect, Boko Haram.
The Minister had on Thursday during a programme organised for the youths announced that the President has granted amnesty to the sect members who are willing to embrace peace by dropping their arms and ammunitions.
At the occasion, the minister said, “President Goodluck Jonathan has also declared amnesty for members of the Boko Haram sect.
“Series of integration programmes have been lined up for the members of the sect who would surrender their arms and embrace peace.
