Ban Ki-moon Calls For Unconditional Release Of Chibok Girls …..Says, Abduction Intolerable

  United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, who is on working visit to Nigeria on Monday called for the unconditional release of the over 200 Chibok girls and many other abducted children in the north-east.
Ki-moon made this call at the Presidential Villa during his call on President for talks.
According to the UN Sec-Gen., the abduction of the girls from their dormitory in a government school in Chibok and that of other Nigerians in the Nort-East of the country as intolerable.
Ki-moon, who stressed a strong solidarity with the affected families and the Nigerian people, said terrorism knows no boundaries and more than ever, collaboration is indispensable in the fight.
Congratulating President Buhari on his stand on corruption and fight against terrorism as he described Nigeria as a source of support to Africa, Ki-moon called for more effort to be centred on tackling the root causes of terrorism such as expansion of educational and employment opportunities for young people.
