Aregbesola commiserates with British High Commission

Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on Friday commiserated with the British High Commission over the demise of its Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Peter Leslie Carter.
This was contained in a statement by the Mr Semiu Okanlawon, Director, Bureau of Communications and Strategy, Office of the Governor.
Ogbeni Aregbesola in the statement prayed for the repose of the soul of the envoy who died on Tuesday.
According to him, the late envoy was a distinguished diplomat and a gentleman of very high standing. “I am saddened by the death of Carter. “I pray for the repose of his soul.
“I extend my heart felt condolences to his immediate family, the government and the entire people of the United Kingdom.” He said and noted that his untimely death was not only a loss to his immediate family and the British High Commission in Nigeria, but also to the people of the United kingdom as a whole.
