APC Inaugurates State Party Chairmen
Interim National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, today in Abuja, inaugurated state party chairmen.
While congratulating the 34 state chairmen including that of the Federal Capital Territory for emerging victorious at their various state congresses, the Chairman implored them to embrace their contenders.
Akande recalled that since INEC registered the party on July 31, 2013, the party’s interim national executive committee, which was inaugurated soon afterwards, had met 10 times to chart a course for the new party.
He said pursuant to its mandate, the Interim National Executive set about structuring the party through the registration of members and the conduct of congresses at the local, ward and state levels.
