APC Adopts Gbajabiamila for Speakership position, Dogara kicks
Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila has emerged as the All Progressives Congress, APC, sole candidate for the position of Speaker of the 8th House of Representative in a primary election conducted by the party.
Mr Gbajabiamila was elected at a primary election for APC members organised by the leadership of the party on Saturday in Abuja between him and Yakubu Dogara.
However, Hon. Dogara has released a statement in which he and his surporters rejected the election.
Dogara in the statement said the election was against President Muhammadu Buhari’s position on the process of electing new leaders for the National Assembly.
