Another River Niger tragedy kills 18 people
A week after over 40 people died in a boat mishap in Niger State, another boat has capsized causing the death of at least 18 people in Niger State.
Mohammed Shaba of the Niger State Emergency Agency, said the latest accident occured on earlier (today) Saturday on River Niger.
The last boat mishap occurred on River Niger close to Malilli Village in Niger on September 27 killing 42 people.
