Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are Married!
Hollywood A-list couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have tied the knot.
According to the Couple’s spokesman, Pitt and Jolie got married at Chateau Miraval -a wine estate that the couple purchased in 2008- in the south of France on Saturday.
The private ceremony, which was attended by close friends and family, saw their eldest sons, Maddox and Pax, 13 and 10 years old respectively, walk their mother down the aisle, while daughters Zahara and Vivienne, 9 and 6, threw petals. Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, reportedly served as ring bearers. Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, also obtained a marriage licence from a Californian judge, who conducted the ceremony at the Chateau.
The pair were said to have fallen in love in 2004/5 while playing the lead parts in the action movie Mr & Mrs Smith, leading to the end of Pitts five-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston. It is Jolie’s third marriage as she has divorces from Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. The power couple have three biological and three adopted children together and became engaged in April 2012.
Pitt was sighted in Thursday wearing a ring on his finger while promoting his new WWII movie, Fury, in which he plays an army sergeant.
The new spouses are due to co-star in their first big movie together since Mr & Mrs Smith, By The Sea. Jolie is expected to direct the movie which she also wrote.
