Amosun’s wife Flags Off “OMI LERO” Ceramic Filter Pots distribution

In continuation of efforts to eradicate water borne disease in the State, the Ogun State Ministry of Rural Development in conjunction with the office of the First Lady and Uplift Foundation will on Wednesday, 
26th of this month flag off the distribution of the ceramic filter pots, “Omilero Pots”
The “omilero” ceramic pots purchased by the State Government are fitted with sterilizers to complement the existing boreholes already dug by the government to prevent the spread of water borne diseases in the rural areas.
In a press statement yesterday in Abeokuta, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Olayinka Kukoyi, indicated that the wife of the State Governor, Mrs. Olufunso Amosun would flag off the distribution of the pots in Opete- Onipota, Olodo, Odeda town and other communities in Odeda Local Government area of the State.
The statement added that the flag off would commence by 11.00 a. m. at Odeda Emere Hall, after which the train would move to other benefiting communities in the council area.
