Sharing is caring!

Ogun State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has commiserated with the Vice-Chairman of the party in the state, who also doubles as the Chairman of Ogun Central Senatorial District, Engr. Yomi Ademefun on the unfortunate passing of his wife, Mrs. Ibironke Olajumoke Ademefun.

In a statement issued in Abeokuta, and signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Chief Wole Elegbede, the party described the demise of Mrs. Ademefun as unpleasant, adding that “APC members across the three senatorial districts are in a state of mourning”.

“It is very hard for us to accept the sad news of the death of Mrs. Ademefun. But as human beings, it is beyond us. We must accept the finality of death which happens to all mortals. During her lifetime, she showed the virtues of excellent womanhood. She was caring, jovial, generous and accommodating. She was a devout Christian and her lifestyle was full of piety. Our hearts are with Engr. Ademefun and family in their moment of grief”.

Leaders of APC in Ogun State had paid condolence visit to the Ibara GRA residence of the family to show their sympathy after the event occurred on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Amongst those who visited the residence yesterday were the Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District in the Senate, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Chairman of APC in Ogun State, Chief Derin Adebiyi, former Chairman of Ogun SUPEB, Alhaji Jelili Okewole, and party chieftains like Alhaji Abidoye Amosun (Baba Agba) and former House of Representatives member representing Abeokuta North, Hon. Micky Kassim.
