Amosun Mourns Botmang, Condoles With Mark Over Death of Sister
Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has commiserated with the government and people of Plateau State over the death of a former Deputy Governor of the State, Mr Michael Botmang, who died at the age of 76.
The governor has also condoled with Senate President, Senator David Mark on the demise of his younger sister, Mrs. Mary Onma-Adekole.
In a press release signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mrs Funmi Wakama, Amosun described the death of Botmang as a great loss to Plateau State in particular and the country in general.
“A very loyal and committed politician, Mr Botmang contributed immensely to the development of Plateau State, when he served as two-term deputy governor to the then Governor, Dr. Joshua Dariye. He was steadfast in allegiance, full of humility and an embodiment of selfless service, even during the disquiet days of the Dariye administration” the governor noted.
Amosun prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest and also comfort his family and associates.
While consoling Mark on the death of his younger sister, Amosun noted that her death was devastating.
He prayed that God will grant her soul eternal rest, console the Senate President and the Adakole John family.
